What are the SELA Youth Health Allies?

The Southeast Los Angeles Youth Health Allies (SYHA) of AltaMed's Community Organizing and Research Engagement (CORE) Team sparks discourse, education, and action toward social change and advocacy, especially towards health inequity in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas.

What did I do? 

• create promotional graphics for upcoming community events and general meetings

• helped design logo and brand kit, including a re-branding kit

• create activation plans to carry out for social media

• collaborate with other team Instagram accounts for outreach and program campaigns

• assisted in planning events and outreach

What is our next goal? 

Expanding the youth channels and participation as we launch back our programs!
