Earl's World

Miscellaneous
This section in my portfolio highlights different projects; some are from classes and some are from personal projects.
DMST 230: Climate Interventions: Performing Arts + New Media
ADK Climate Project

Ongoing project created by professors: Stephanie Ashenfelder and Rose Pasquarello Beauchamp
The ADK Climate Project connects climate change to personal narrative using a mobile recording studio that travels through the Adirondack Park. These captured climate narratives are subsequently provided to artists who create artworks in response. The aim is to promote climate action by highlighting our humanity, sharing and reflecting on the local consequences of climate change, as opposed to relying exclusively on scientific data. As a class, we helped gather climate stories and created art works in response.

An Eye-Awakening Incentive
Leanna Birsner, Earl L. Bumagat and Smarlin Espino
Our group wanted to create an interactive art piece where we would have people physically go through our exhibit. It had easily destroyable pieces and people were able to go through it with the intent to reach their wants and desires.
AHST 201: Arts and Activism
The Reckoning
Class Project
As a class, we brainstormed and thought of an interactive way to invoke discussion on community needs with our peers, friends, family, and anyone willing to be involved. We thought of focusing the project on why voting matters and why people should vote, especially as this was done near local election season. Some places where this installation took place included the Sloan Performing Arts Center, the Rochester Public Market, and the Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence.

Personal
earlleats
I started this account to document, journal, and show the different types of foods I have tried from different places, including Los Angeles, New York City, and Rochester. By giving them personal reviews, I'm able to help promote businesses and create an adventuristic and aesthetic food blog/vlog.
